Anxiety has a way of getting loud. It shows up at night, in the car, in the middle of a busy day. When it does, it is easy to stop trusting and let our own thoughts take the lead.
God already gave us something stronger than our worries: His Word. Here are 15 Bible verses about anxiety and fear from the King James Version, to read, memorize and keep close.

How to keep these verses close
- Pick one verse a week. Write it on a card and read it every morning until you know it by heart.
- Pray it back to God. Turn the verse into your own words: "Lord, I cast this care on You, because You care for me."
- Put it where you will see it. Your phone lock screen, your mirror, your coffee mug, or your closet.
That last one is why we started KPS. Every piece we make carries a verse, so His Word is there when you get dressed in the morning. Pieces like the No Temas Tee (Isaiah 41:10), the Faith Over Fear Hoodie, the Be Still Pocket Tee (Psalm 46:10) and the Pray More Worry Less Crewneck (Philippians 4:6) were made for days like these.
A note with care: if anxiety is affecting your sleep, your work or your relationships, please also talk to your doctor, a counselor or your pastor. Seeking help is not a lack of faith.
Don't lean on your own understanding. Lean on Him.
